i-SHIFT – gearbox for Honda cars

i-SHIFT is an automatic transmission on some Honda models. It was launched in 2005. The transmission has both automatic and manual control modes. The mode is selected by moving the shift lever to the “A/M” position. Once manual mode is activated, move the shift lever to the “+” or “–” position. In addition, the rocker switches allow you to shift to a higher or lower gear as soon as the shift lever is in the “D” position.
